Refund policy
Preorder / Presell Policy
- Preorders are for products that have not yet been released. These items are typically marked with “Expected Release mm/dd/yyyy” in the product title.
- By placing a preorder, you are reserving a product that will ship once The Collector Store LLC receives it from the manufacturer.
- Release dates are determined by the manufacturer and may change without notice.
- If you include both preorder and non-preorder items in the same order, the entire order will ship only after the final preorder item arrives.
- Preorders cannot be canceled once submitted. If an exception is made, a 20% cancellation fee will apply.
- Once delivered, preorder items are non-returnable and non-refundable.
- In rare cases of supplier shortages or allocation, we will issue a refund or store credit for any unfulfilled portion of your preorder.
Order Cancellation & Refused Shipments
- If a shipment is refused at delivery and returned to us, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable, and additional return shipping fees charged by the carrier may also be deducted.
- Exceptions: If the cancellation or refusal is due to an error on our part (such as shipping the wrong item), no restocking fee will apply.
Online Return Policy
- Customers must notify us within 15 days of purchase to request a return.
- Returned products must be in their original, factory-sealed packaging and in the same condition they were received.
- Products that are opened, tampered with, played with, or altered are not eligible for return.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Damaged Item Policy
At The Collector Store, we take great care in packaging and shipping your order. However, we understand that sometimes items may arrive damaged in transit.
Reporting a Damaged Item
- Timeframe: All damaged items must be reported within 7 days of delivery.

How to Report: Please email us at support@collectorstore.com with the following:
- Your order number
- A clear description of the damage
- Photos of the item, packaging, and shipping label
Resolution Options
- Once reviewed, we may offer one of the following resolutions:
- Replacement of the damaged item (if available)
- Store credit for the value of the item
- Refund to the original payment method
Important Notes
- Packaging: Please keep all original packaging and damaged items until your claim has been processed, as they may be required for inspection.
- Sealed Products: Factory-sealed products must remain sealed for damage claims to be valid. Opened items may not qualify unless the damage is manufacturer-related.
- Exclusions: We are not responsible for minor cosmetic imperfections to packaging (such as slight dents, scratches, or corner wear) that do not affect the actual product.
